Databook?...by that you mean my textbook right? Or is that something you get when you sit the exams?

You must be in year 11 :P


If that's the case, when you do any class tests you should follow what your teacher says about sig fig and values such as Avogadro's number for the sake of better marks.

And yes, when you sit exams you get a data book

My teacher usually gives us Neap tests, how does Neap approach all this?
(I won't ask my teacher because I don't really want to make a big deal out of this).

Well if she's using answers provided by them, then follow what's been said in this thread

But if she says something like 'all answers should be 3 decimal places' then do that... adjust your treatment of sig fig according to the marker. I guess it might be confusing, but in the end, it's all about getting the highest marks you can.
