i wrote social, economic and environmental determinants too!! would that still be ok?

This honestly may just be me looking for some desperate sign of hope, but generally with these types of questions there's two possible answers.
If I were to pick a second possible one, it would be this one. Since there are social, economic and environmental factors relating to tobacco smoking, and additionally reducing the prevalence of smoking would prevent cancer and increase health outcomes and HALE.

But again, I could just be pulling straws here.
Just be happy that it was only one mark!

I have to agree that there's unlikely to be just one answer - I would personally award marks for anyone saying social/env/economic determinants, but can't guarantee. :)

What did you guys put for how the physical environment can cause higher rates of undernourishment in developing countiries compared to Australia? I used Natural Disasters, which was a bad choice :( and were you allowed to make up a program for the immunisation question, because it said a program that COULD be implemented. I had a real one up my sleeve but I chose to make one up instead, was this a bad choice? Overall I think it was a pretty good exam, nothing to out of the ordinary.

You're always allowed to make up a program. The examiners don't check if your programs are real or not, and just assume they are. The marks come from your description of said program, and of course, in relation to its relevance to the question. So yeah, I think you're fine.
I pretty much made up all of the programs I used -- well, they were based off of REAL programs, I just switched up who they were implemented by.

I think Heidi said she'll get to it soon.
But I just wanted to tell you not to stress. Honestly I'm also extremely anxious about how I performed, mainly because I didn't even get the chance to check my answers and had to rush through the whole thing, but I think we all need to accept that what's done is done, and that there's no point stressing yourself out about it now and wanting to know where you got and lost marks. Nothing will change now, so you might as well take in a deep breath and say, "well, at least it's over!"
Often the case is that you've done a whole lot better than you think you did, anyway.

I'm afraid I couldn't get a copy of the exam, which means I can't give suggested answers :(  Again, if anyone knows someone that has a copy, I'm still here to answer :)

You can ask questions before the exam here, and there'll probably be discussion threads in this board after the exam tomoz!  Good lukc :)

My teacher sneaked in and took a copy of the health exam. I'm not sure when they would be out. I've done pretty well.
QUESTION. ;D
For example I've been getting  90tiees, for SACs. Does that mean I'll get bonus marks or how does the bonus marks works. :)  :-\

I did transport systems, because people may not be able to access to supermarkets where they can buy nutritious food. i used a real immunisation program. It wasn't a hard exam but i definitely messed up in many areas :(

I did clean water and sanitisation. I probably should've written access to water and sanitisation but hopefully I don't get marked down :/

guys what did it mean for that question when it asked for: write down the function as a determinant of health?
and it gave protein, calcium, and vitamin D. I just didn't get the "as a determinant of health" part WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!?! IS IT JUST THE FUNCTION because I only put down the function.

AND I WAS SO STUCK FOR TIME OMG !!!! especially after i misread a couple of the questions make me have to re-write answer  >:(
I know i've already lost a couple of marks :(

WIth those questions, I've been told to write about how the nutrient increases/decreases the risk of a condition. Calcium and Vitamin D is the obvious osteoporosis, protein you could've said osteoporosis too (as excess leads to bone calcium loss), but I wrote obesity (excess energy=fat).

What marks do you think you need for 49 or 50 even?

I didn't finish, lost 5 marks for sure. The answers I got down were pretty good though I think. Hoping for above 47. Being doing really well all year and was aiming for higher but I'll be happy with 47 now, not being able to finish sucks  :(
