Opinion on notes?

Would be great to get your opinions guys on which books/notes are good to purchase for chemistry that have been very beneficial to you guys! and also What type of sources did you guys use? If any of you guys have purchased any of these notes/sources, were they any good? Also, if youve purchased majority of these, are any of them practically the same and a waste of purchasing? Connect, StudyOn, A+ Notes, ExamPro and Atar Notes Book? Any suggestions guys? Would be great :)

For the following subjects:
- HHD
- English
- Further
- Chem

Mod edit: Changed title to something more relevant and deleted multiple duplicates.

I used the heinemann textbook(old study design now) early on and didn't really touch it after term 1. My other notes were from ATARNotes by thushan and connect education notes. Both were great resources, the ATARNotes notes were great for learning the course material probably more dense than the connect notes which were great just for a quick revision and checklist that i had revised everything required.

I used Exampro and the Heinemann; found them both to be very good tho Exampro killed me on more than one occasion (found it to really challenge my fundamental understanding of the course). idk if there's gonna be an exampro for the new study design tho.

For HHD: I'd argue that you probably don't need those resources, or if you want any, I'd go with AN's notes (their lecture notes, not exampro) ;)  It's not a particularly difficult subject to understand and it's not the number of notes you have, so much as how thoroughly you learn the content that the textbooks will give you. :)

Regarding ExamPro, I'm not sure you can actually purchase new books from them anymore. Last time I checked, they had kind of fallen off the face of the earth and weren't contactable by anyone or any suppliers. This may be different now, but it was definitely the case earlier in the year. Alternatively, you can purchase a second-hand ExamPro book if you find someone who has one.

Thankyou so much heidi! Thats great advice! How about A+ notes? Any good for HHD?

Thankyou Glasses!! I'm not sure about ExamPro now, well for HHD that is.

Is their any point in buying ExamPro (old study design) if your doing the new one?

Will they be a new AtarNotes note book for chemistry and all subjects in which the study design has changed? (2017)

I liked it; didn't find it to be over the top (always within the scope of the study design imo) but to be fair I never had the chance to do the 3 exams; only got around to doing the tests before I got swamped with exams and revision. By comparison to VCAA though, exampro was defs harder than VCAA imo.

I got mine secondhand so I'm not sure re: purchasing new ones but I swear a while ago thushan (maybe someone else) said that whatever problems the company were having had been resolved??? (don't quote me, I may be wrong)
