NIE Books- Change over the years?
One Step at a Time:
Do NIE Books for UMAT change a lot over the years?
Just wondering if it's worth it to buy the new 2017 books if I already have the 2015 ones.

interested in knowing the answer to this too! i bought the platinum nie books second hand but the seller gave me the 2013 version which she didn't mention at all... maybe it's worth giving them back to her and buying the 2017 ones?

Not sure about now but when I did my UMAT, NIE material was quite useless and out of date.

My sister had NIE 2015 books, got into med this year. She said that she found their course to be more relevant and easier to follow than another online umat course she signed up for as well. She said that due ti time constaring eventually she ended up using the NIE books only, and didn't bother about the other online course. I am trying for med this year myself and purchased their 2017 course, and books appear to be mostly different than what my sis had. There are lots of courses out there, I would probably recommend speaking to the company directly when doing you research. Forums are known for providing lots of misleading info when it comes to umat courses. A friend of mine used to work for a umat company, and he told me that they used to ask their casual workers to regularly create different accounts on various med forums to rubbish other umat courses and upmarket their own. So good luck and of course be careful. If you have your eyes set on a course, just give organisation a call, and get a feel for them, that's what i did.
