Hello,

I was trying to ask Stop 1 if there was a person I can discuss with about transferring. I have a 69.3 wam (including sem 2 results) and in order to transfer into Commerce you will need a 70 wam.

I have read that sometimes the uni will make an exception and I was wondering if there is someone I can talk to who has the power to make a decision about that exception. All Stop 1 told me was to wait for VTAC to contact me about. But there are some personal issues I wish to discuss with uni about the transfer.

If anyone know any method to which I can contact that person or group, please let me know!

Thank you in advance!  ;D

My guess is the head of the business/economics faculty or something. Not sure who that is but the faculty's contact details are here:

http://fbe.unimelb.edu.au/contact

so perhaps if you ring them they might be able to direct you to someone who can help?

I have a similar issue to you, except my issue is that I need to know if I got in or not before the first offers date, because first offers come out after the beginning of summer subjects and I need to plan my subjects based on that information or risk extending the length of my degree.

Agree with above though in that usually the head of faculties are usually responsive (have not tried the comm department, but engineering/science ones responded). I'll try doing that and report back if it works.

If you find the answer to this question please pass it on, would be really helpful.
