SEAS for unimelb design

Im asking this for a friend, he got 79.85 and wants to get into unimelb design, seas clearly on is 78 but he forgot to apply for disadvantaged financial background, although he did apply for difficult circumstances and disadvantaged school, is this enough to guarantee an offer? Because the unimelb site only losts disadvantaged financial background when mentioning seas applications. And if not, is there anything he can do to notify the uni about the mistake?

The guarantee only applies to those categories that are mentioned on the site (financial, rural if I remember correctly); however, if your friend's SEAS application is accepted, SEAS will come into consideration...just no guarantee. Unfortunately, your friend will have to wait and see. It's certainly the case that he can get a place, he's just not guaranteed a place per se
