Logbook? (2017+ study design)

Hi, everyone!

I'm wondering if uguys know about the new 'logbook' system implemented for all vce science subjects starting 2017? I get that it'd mostly be for recording experiments (like rough drafts of scientific report, am I right or nah?) done in class and to jot down appendix when designing experiments (AoS 3).

But am I missing something? I'm sooo clueless. A part of my Bio homework requires me to jot down about this one experiment we did in class during Headstart week before the holidays and i have all the data, results and everything  but i have no idea what to write (like do i just copy the prac sheet?). It's for the logbook.

This is the template I follow, which your teacher may not concur with.

Aim (copy it from your prac sheet)
Flowchart (a rough sketch would do)
Data/ Results (tables, graphs etc..)
Results  Discussion (any questions you have to answer? -> you must display all the calculations)
Observations (optional)

Thanks Syndicate thats really helpful!  :D

Though it's true my school teacher talks nothing about how to use the logbook *facepalm*
Also, for the Results part, do we need to include the overall class results too or just our own?

No Problem  :)

Your own results would be fine (only include your class' results, if you find that your ones are inconsistent (ie. comparing your data with others, in order to find outliers etc...), or your teacher told you to do so).

I also forgot to include that you can also include your observations (I find this quite optional, and didn't really do it when we conducted small pracs)
