Hey Edwina! Welcome to ATAR Notes.

Advice: what do I need to do to get a 40+ in Futher Mathematics?
(I'm a reasonable math student but not at that standard. What do I need to do to achieve it)
I disagree with this part of your post. If you're "a reasonable math student", as you say, then you absolutely have the ability to 40+ Further. I think Swag's post above is a good one; after you initially learn the content in class, there's not much too it aside from repetition of questions. The more questions you complete, the more you'll 'get it', and the better you'll become.
I think, generally, Further has a fairly clear work to study score relationship. Work hard, pay attention in class, and you'll be absolutely fine.

(And also, if you don't understand something in class,
ask. This seems like such a fundamental thing, but lots of people don't speak up when they don't understand something (because they feel like they
should understand or whatever else), but that's the whole point of school!)
All the very best.
