Monash Biomed to Monash Med

So I've heard about the guaranteed positions for Monash Biomedicine and I've been considering alternate pathways which I am slightly confused about.  ???
Can you sit GAMSAT for other universities, i.e. Melbourne and Deakin, for postgrad medicine despite going to Monash Biomed for undergrad?
I am uncertain if you have to go to that university and do their undergrad course to be legible for their postgrad course...
Thanks in advance  ;D

You can certainly do that i.e sit GAMSAT for other grad med programs.

However, just as Monash has restricted grad med to their own students, other unis (unimelb, deakin) might follow suit some time in the future. But I wouldn't be worrying about that right now :)

I see...
Thank you for replying so quickly.  :)
Btw, the only requirement for Med entry is that you have to finish your undergrad and do GAMSAT, right?
Also, apologises for posing another question,  is there no prejudice in Med entry into another uni during selection process?

The only uni that "prejudices" against others is Monash, insofar as they don't allow students from other Unis to take their medical degree, which is their loss imo. Deakin does make it easier for students who live in Geelong or who grew up in Geelong to get in, too.

As far as entry goes, for UniMelb you need to have studied approved Anatomy, Biochemistry and Physiology subjects (usually one of each), in addition to GAMSAT and undergrad.
2013-15: BBiomed (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology), UniMelb
2016-20: MD, UniMelb
2019-20: MPH, UniMelb
2021-: GDipBiostat, USyd
