Generic question but I'll ask it anyway!

What's the top advice you could give to me as I approach my final year of school? :)

mtse:
Completely forgot about this thread sorry :')

2) You've said that you like to argue. Now, what topics school you like to argue about?

3) Off you can choose someone too be your mentor in your life, who would you choose? Why?

A bit of a late poster here.  :P

1) I really have no idea... Difference people have obviously had an influence on my life but I wouldn't say there is one single individual who has inspired me to be who I am. I just kind of let things fall into place hahahah

2) honestly if you tried to start an argument about pizza, i'd probably join in. Same goes if it were about Trump. Only things I tend to hold back on is Aus politics (cause I'm completely clueless) and where I feel like I shouldn't waste my breath on trying to convince someone on something they'll never even consider

3) Mentors.... that word gives me PTSD symptoms (due to high school forcing the program onto us) ahhaha .... honestly like Q1 I've never had like one idol. But if I could, I'd love to pick the brains of Victor Chang - a chinese-aus surgeon who was like the first to perform modern heart transplants, but unfortunately shot dead during an extortion attempt. He just seems like a cool guy :')

HAHAHHA a generic question is only going to lead to generic answers
1. enjoy yourself - like seriously.... I played card games with my friends during spares. Never studied during lunch (except for one sac I kind of forgot about)

2. study in your own way - everyone likes to tell others how they studied to achieve a perfect score etc.... really it's up to you to figure out what works for you and what doesn't. i used year 11 as my trial period (did 2 year 12 subjects in year 11) so that year 12 ran smoothly. E.g. people say don't type notes in class, just listen to the teacher --> in bio, i typed every word my teacher said because I knew she was picky on wording... ended up being able to prove the teacher wrong a few times - she would take a mark off on my sac and I'd have proof that she said otherwise in class just the week before. HAHAHHA

3. use your teachers and friends well - I'm not one to ask questions often because most of the time I can figure things out after a while. But every now and then, hearing something again in different words can clear everything up. If you set up a good relationship with your teachers, they're much more likely to want to help you. E.g. my english teacher had taught me in year 10 as well so we were tight before the year started. Throughout the year she'd give me extra sample essays from past students which she didn't give the rest of the class. They were often written by high achievers and were super helpful during my futile attempt to score well in english. :')
