A good place to start is to use cosine rule to find angle APB. See if you can work out the rest from there ;D

Definitely the correct approach! Find APB, using the cosine rule as above, then see if you can use that to learn anything about the triangle involved with CD. There are any number of ways to answer this question; just focus on the sine, and cosine, rule for angles and sides :)
