I dont know if i should take economics or legal studies. I feel like I enjoy legal studies more and im better at it but economics scales better so im not sure? any help would be great

sudodds:
If you do better in legal studies and you enjoy it more, then the scaling doesn't matter. Economics was one of (if not the) highest scaling subject that I had, and it didn't even count towards my ATAR.   You're more likely to do well in a subject that you enjoy, and are willing to put the necessary work in - and eco takes a lot of work. (note this perspective is slightly biased though because I didn't really enjoy eco as much as my other subjects hahaha)

QC:
100% agree with above, if ur motivation/enjoyment for legal can take you from a B5 to a B6 it is irrelevant what eco scales to.

jamonwindeyer:
Yeah this is one of the few times that a subject choice is a bit of a no brainer - If you enjoy Legal more then choose it! You'll always do better in a subject you enjoy. For example, my school offered History Extension, but I ain't picking History Extension (even though it scales way better than Legal) because History bores me to tears ;) (sorry sudodds, please don't hurt me...)

But yep, always stick with what you are passionate about ;D

(Ps - The scaling difference between Legal and Eco is like non-existent anyway) ;)
