Attending a lecture stream I'm not timetabled in

One of my subjects (Calculus 1) runs multiple lecture streams during the week. When I was making my timetable, the stream that I wanted was unfortunately full, and I had to choose a different stream. Now this stream that I'm in isn't really the best for my timetable as 2 out of the 3 days that the lecture runs, this subject is the only class for that day, and I don't really want to commute to uni just to attend a 1 hour lecture then go home right after. Provided that there isn't a physical lack of seats in the lecture theatre, is it okay for me to attend the "full" stream since it fits my timetable better?

yes i do this all the time, no one really cares unless the lecture hall is completely full and students are sitting on the stairs, then the lecturer might get bothered. Even then they can't kick you out haha. It'll be fine.

True, but if there are people sitting in the aisles/stairs the lecturer is not legally allowed to begin the lecture.
