How to analyse Maus?

Hi AN readers,

I was wondering what structure to follow when writing an essay for this text? How much of an essay do I dedicate to analysing visuals? Do I memorise things other than quotes, like key visuals? In general, what makes writing an essay on Maus different to a standard t.r essay on a book or film?

Hi, presuming you did this text last year in you exam (based off your post time) how did you go about analysing it?
There is a lot of talk about referencing page 201 would you advise this? and what were your results like?
