Hey, since we cannot bring in our phone in the exam room... if we were to have a laptop in our bag. Would it be considered the same as having a phone present in the exam room?

They won't let you take anything into the exam room, except for stationary in a clear plastic bag, and a water bottle without a label. Everything else will be kept outside the room, including your bags.

A lot of schools do that - They'd be separate from the desks, you can't have your bag next to you/on your person is the main idea ;D
