The MX2 Exam Committee and Questions

Hi,

Who generally comprises the MX2 exam committee? Is it solely teachers or are university professors/lecturers also involved in the creation of the exam? Regarding the various questions in the paper, are these generally entirely original? If so, are there any particular sources they take inspiration (e.g. University textbooks/questions)? If not, where have these similar questions been sourced from?

Thanks

Writing questions is significantly harder than answering them. There's always university staff on the team. That goes for 2U and 3U as well.

You're asking a lot after that though. The exam writers choose what suits their purposes. You can't just say that every single question is original because they're bound to run out of ideas at some point, however they can use whatever is at their disposal as well to aid them. Given that there's hundreds of textbooks in existence it's not possible to just single out a few that would be their main go-to source.
