Need Opinions and Advice!
(1/1)
NicolasD:
Hello!
My name is Nicolas, and I am a recent Year 12 Graduate whos decided to take a Gap Year to try and secure a Direct Entry Pathway into Medicine at UWA (through High Academic Achievement). I got an ATAR of 99.25 if that's relevant!
I've gone through all the five practice materials and gone through the answers (making sure I understood where I went wrong an etc.) and was just wondering if I'm headed in the right direction before I continue on. Essentially if I was doing a Prac Exam I'd sit down for 3 hours and just do the full exam and if I had time to spare, check my answers. When it came to the additional questions I'd sit down for about an hour and a half and do them in the same way. I'll post all my first attempt results below:

I don't have a particular exam taking strategy other than to just go through it uniformly (move through it from 1 to 134). Once I'm done I wait a day before going through the results and making sure to correct all my errors (identify the issue and how to resolve it) and there's been very few that I couldn't fix! I think perhaps my problem is that I'm a bit of an over-thinker and that is holding me back. Anyway, any opinions and advice is much appreciated. Brutal honesty about my results, technique, and direction is GREATLY APPRECIATED!
P.S. Advice on what else to study and how to continue study would be awesome!
