Bound reference

 Hi guys, I'm just wondering if we can use whatever type of notebook for the bound reference or not.
Some people told me that these two for example apparently don't have a solid binding(??) so they can't be used:

These books can't be used because they are perforated (designed to tear). Spiral bound is okay according to the VCAA Guidelines, but some teachers are pretty strongly against it - you should go with what your teacher says because they are the ones that check your reference before the exam. Basically you can use anything you want as long as it's not easy to remove pages, just to prevent you turning your book into paper planes during the exam or something.

Yeah, don't think you'll be able to use them, but it's best to ask your teacher.
