Hi,
In Extension 2 Mathematics, if needing to show/prove that triangles are similar/congruent and other basic proofs etc. are we allowed to just say that the chosen objects are congruent/similar by inspection, with no other reasoning than by inspection?

I don't see why you should be allowed to assume anything for proper geometry based proofs.
On the other hand, for something like volumes they're more relaxed and you may assume it.

In one of Eddie Woo's videos, he says by inspection to prove triangles are congruent/similar, that is what made me ponder upon whether this was allowed
