Want to write for ATAR Notes?

Well, hot diggity – this is your chance!
What’s in it for you?
1. Bruh, it’s ATAR Notes!
2. Excellent experience contributing to a well-known brand, and getting more of an insight into behind-the-scenes stuff
3. You can pass on all of your expert knowledge 8)
4. Good for résumés!

But like, what does it involve? I WANT DETAILS
1. Please calm down
2. Sure! Here are the details:

You may or may not be aware of the articles published on the ATAR Notes website. They’re pretty slick! These are the things that get promoted on Facebook and stuff – perhaps you’ve seen them there (I mean, surely you like the ATAR Notes VCE and ATAR Notes HSC Facebook pages ;)).

What you, my friend, would be doing, is basically writing the occasional voluntary article. What would you write about? Well, you may get some ideas from this thread here! Your article(s) could cover things like:

-   How to do well in a particular subject
-   How to nail a specific aspect of a subject
-   General study advice
-   What university is like
-   Subject selection
-   Time/stress management

And a whole bunch of other things (we’re always open to suggestions hehe)! :)

Frequently Asked* Questions
Do I have to attach my IRL name?
SpoilerNah – it can be entirely anonymous.
But I’m not very good at writing – is that an issue?
SpoilerAll of the articles will be edited, anyway – so no, not really an issue.
When will you need the articles?
SpoilerNo time specifically, but this can be worked out at a later date 1v1 (and by that, I mean via email communication, because physical social interaction is tiring af amirite).
How long do the articles need to be?
SpoilerNot drastically! As a guide, check out the existing articles online. :)
I’m in Year 10/11/12 – can I still write articles?
SpoilerYou better believe it!
I’m interested in writing for ATAR Notes, but don’t want to do it right now because I have heaps of exams and I haven’t studied much so I really need to do that instead of other stuff including this but also the stuff that I do on a daily basis to procrastinate like unnecessarily checking if anything has appeared in the fridge and looking a pictures of cats – what should I do?
SpoilerDefinitely keep looking at pictures of cats (#teamkitty). But that’s okay – let me know and I’ll make a note of it for future reference. :)
Are Clix real?
SpoilerNo – Clix are fictional.
*Literally never asked before, but I assume people might want to know.

This is a really good op, if you really want to write, definitely go ahead! ;D
(If anyone mentions that clix are real in their writing, contact me for like +5 upvotes anywhere on the forum :p )

While I agree that Clix aren't real, Joseph, I believe I have it in your writing that Clix are the meaning of life. Which implies you believe their existence.

EDIT: to be more relevant to this thread - this is a great opportunity, not only to get a bit more involved in AN (and you never know what that might lead to), but to selflessly help many more students than you often can on the forums. ;D

Prove it.

Everyone should definitely take advantage of this opportunity - About 2 years ago I started writing some random articles for ATAR Notes, fast forward and I now work for AN part time, I lecture for AN, and I'm the most boring of the four admins ;)  life is about seizing opportunities, and this is one to seize :)
