Physics 3/4 by distance

Hi everyone. I just registered for this site and this is my first post because I am worried about this.

I'm thinking of doing physics 3/4 by distance education next year in year 12, without having done 1/2.

I was wondering if the content is very hard (I'm currently doing Maths Methods 1/2) and if it's a subject that requires a lot of help from the teacher.
Is the content from 1/2 a lot or could I learn the basics over the summer holidays?
Has anyone done physics by distance and what was that like for you?

Thanks in advance

Haven't done it by distance, but I would recommend using a site such as KhanAcademy to learn about concepts like kinematics, relativity, and electromagnetism. Then you will at least have an idea if it interests you or not, and how complicated you find the concepts.

I suggest to go for it.

Physics isn't a very heavy subject, just some content and some math formulas. If you have a mathematical mind, it wont take you long to understand as its quite logical. I do agree with miniturtle though, check out some of the content on khanacademy or some vids on youtube too see if the content interests you.

Content from unit 1 and 2 isn't specially needed, over the holidays going over vectors should be suffcient

Half of unit 1/2 isn't even included in the unit 3/4 (thermodynamics) even though it is interesting to know about.

The content is not hard but I do recommend going over the motion part of physics as that in my opinion is the most challenging aspect of physics 3/4.
