ive done 2 practice exams, and ive scored 64% in each one.
ive rigurously checked each one to see where ive gone wrong.
should i do more revision to help boost those scores (ive done this quite extensively) or should i persist with practice exam after practice exam?

There are some practice exams that are a bit dodgy. But if you got this in say a NEAP one (found them to be OK thus far) then I would advise you to hit the books again before continuing on with practice exams. What are you getting wrong, calculations or worded answers? If you are getting worded answers wrong it might be worth it to go back and read how they word explanations in your textbook. For calculations you could probably improve by doing more practice exams, as what you really need are more questions. For Detailed Study MC, I don't know which one you are doing but for sound I've found there is a limited range of questions and if you are struggling there then you can afford to just keep on doing practice exams and reading the answers and checking on brief sections of the textbook if necessary and you should be able to cover the detailed study.

yeah one was a neap exam. where doing synchrotron as the detailed study, and i got full marks for that section so thats not the issue. its just wording for electric power thats killing me. i know the stuff, but the way i word it is different to how the solutions explain it, thus i lose marks. calculations are fine, and really i know i should be getting 100% on these. wat are your thoughts??

Well 64% to 100% is a big jump and if its worded answers that are getting you then yeah I really think you should read the textbook just to see how it's explained in written form. It might even help to write brief summary notes on the bits you can't articulate or word. Good news is you've got like 8 weeks just to learn how to talk about physics and explain it effectively so you should be fine after that.
