Exact value or rounded one?
(1/1)

Hi,
For topics such as growth and decay, when you find the "k" value and determine it to be k = 0.358 (as an example), and it then asks you to make a calculation using it e.g. P = 2 + 5e^kt, calculate find t when P = 8. Do you use the "proper" k or the k=0.358?
Thanks

Definitely use the 'proper' value of k: either write it down to like a million decimal places, or just save it on your calculator!
