Hey, if anyone has sort of gone through past papers and sort of worked out what will most likely be asked for 2017 or if your teacher has dropped any predictions or friendly hints, could you please post them?

Thanks a heap:)

(any topics but especially the common ones and world order or global environmental protection)

In terms of crime, it wouldn't surprise me if a theme or challenge was brought up. But, at the lectures a lot of students told me that their teachers are predicting sentencing and punishment procedures. So I've tried to put together some possible ones here:

-Assess how the nature of crime is considered in the sentencing and punishment procedures in order to achieve justice.
-Analyse the significance of law reform in the criminal justice system and how it achieves justice for victims, offenders, and society.
-Analyse the role of discretion in the criminal justice system.
-Evaluate the way the criminal justice system aims to encourage compliance whilst adequately dealing with non-compliance.
Not sure how to navigate around ATAR Notes? Check out this video!

Hi Elyse! Just have a quick question about the possible questions you put up, but for "Analyse the significance of law reform in the criminal justice system and how it achieves justice for victims, offenders, and society," would you dedicate one paragraph each for victims, offenders and society? Or would you talk about all of them in a paragraph but assign each paragraph to different themes or ideas instead?

These types of questions always confuse me haha
