Free periods

Hey, I only just dropped down to 10 units before trials (we had ours at the end of last term) so tomorrow is my 1st free period and I was wondering if I should be using the extra time to focus on my weaker subjects (English and Drama) or if I should focus on all of my subjects equally? I kind of feel bad neglecting my good subjects a little to focus on the not so good, but could that be a good thing?
HSC 2017: Advanced English [85] General Maths [92] Biology [96] Geography [92] Drama [86]

2018: Bachelor of Arts and Advanced Studies at University of Sydney

-- need a tutor for any of the subjects listed above?? I reckon I'm the girl! Just message me on ATAR notes or here--

Hey Fellow Potato!
I would consider your previous studying allocations before you make such a decision. Did you study all your subjects equally before? Or were they unequal? If they were all studied equally, i think you should stick with that because if you focus on your weak ones, you might lose focus on your strong subjects. However if you study was imbalanced previously, definitely START studying the weaker subjects FIRST and then slowly transition into equal allocations of study.

That's all i have to say !

Hey! Assuming these periods are extra and the rest of your time will be spread evenly, using the time for the subjects you struggle with could be a great call! Ultimately you want to focus on your trouble areas when studying for the HSC, within reason, so using the extra time to address those weaknesses sounds smart to me! :)

Considering you have finished your trials and assuming you have no more assessments left before the HSC exams, I think focusing on the weaker subjects would be very valuable. You would still be working on your other subjects but the weaker ones deserve extra attention for sure!
Enjoy your free periods, they were honestly the best thing that happened to my HSC 'career'! :)

I do actually have more assessments before HSC but I guess it doesn't change the overall trend in answers, that I should focus on the weaker ones more but still work on everything, and hopefully get everything to be equally as good.
Thanks guys for all your help!
If anyone else has their 2cents to chip in feel free to do so, I find the variations in opinion interesting and it leads to more informed uses of time  :)

free periods, nice. I have 12 units so haven't yet experienced that, but maybe after trials I might drop a subject if I do poor

I reckon once Trials are done, keep em all! You never know when 2 units could come in handy and you've done literally all the hard work besides the exam ;D
