What does VCD involve?
kiki.:
Hi everyone, I'm doing year 12 this year but I want to self teach myself VCD for my own interest. Can anyone tell me what topics you study so I can research further into it?
These are the ones I know so far:
* Typography
* Design Elements and Principles
Thanks so much!!

I would definitely have a gander at the resources under the 'Curriculum' heading on the VCD page on VCAA, then maybe skim some of the past exams and examiners reports to see what general topics come up.
Some of the course is quite practical, such as technical drawing and the ability to render materials and textures. Youtube tutorials would be a great resource for these as simply reading about it isn't the same as seeing someone physically demonstrate things. If you're only looking towards the analytical components and the more general concepts behind things, you won't have to worry too much about this.
Make sure to focus on your year 12 subjects that contribute though!
