Does anyone have any essay promts for the two books above? In comparison format?
Trying to do a few essays... So far we have only been given one:

How do Orwell and Funder explore resistance to the totalitarian regimes in NINETEEN EIGHTY FOUR and STASILAND?

These are the ones from the VCAA 2017 Sample Exam:
i. In oppressive societies, there is little possibility for trust.
What do these texts suggest about the nature of trust?
OR
ii. “If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face – for ever.” (Nineteen Eighty-Four)
“He who puts himself in danger will die.” (Stasiland)
Compare what the two texts say about the threat of punishment as a means of control.
