Melbourne university access program and SEAS

Hey guys,

I'm currently a year 12 student that aspires to study at Arts @Melbourne Uni. I was looking at the access program and it says that if I under the financial disadvantage category, then I will be guaranteed a spot.

Has anyone gotten into Melbourne arts through its access program ? If so, are you able to provide me the details e.g.: the atar you achieved.

This isn't quite exactly what you're after, but I got into Commerce @ Melb through SEAS. But, it was through under-represented school and bridged a gap of about 2.5 ATAR points to get me entry. I'm not sure how the financial disadvantage category works, but that might give you an idea of the ATAR 'boost' it gives you.

I think that under that category (financial disadvantage) you are guaranteed an offer for Arts with an ATAR of 80. But you need to apply through VTAC and had better check all the requirements.
