Which edition should i use ?

Buy the 4th ed of the heinamann textbook
Don't buy the 4th ed, just use the 3rd ed.

Hi i am currently doing year 11 Physics and wondering what topics are taken from the Unit 1/2 that will be needed for Unit 3/4 because for these topics i want to make sure i consolidate them before i go into year 12. Furthermore, i was wondering if i should buy the heinamann version 4ed of the unit 3/4 Physics book. My cousin gave me a 3rd edition of the book so i am not sure whether it is worth buying the newest version available. :)

Given that this year is the first year of a new study design I would buy the 4th edition book. 

Kinematics is very important,  make sure you can comfortably use the formula and understand energy conservation.  You also use electrical formulae such as Ohms law.
