physics question.

(1/1)

eternalconflux:
hello.
just curious but would this type of question appear in a physics exam? apparently you meed to use double angle formula from trig, but the problem is that i don't think it is taught in 2 unit maths (which i do.)

blasonduo:
It would be very silly!

That is not taught in the physics course and thus should never pop up in a physics exam. Expecting everyone who does physics do to 3u maths is silly.

They definitely won't require you to do anything except use the formulas on the formula sheet. Sometimes, it might be easier to use mathematics techniques, but there will always be a purely formulaic approach to any projectile question in the HSC!
