Hi guys
So I have done 3 exams for chem so far in the prelim course and have basically lost marks all in the conceptual questions. I am dead sure my concepts are very clear and I understand everything that goes on in class. My stoichiometric skills are also great for me as I haven't lost a single mark in that area so far. The places where I have lost marks, however, are very confusing. Not because I answer the question wrong, but my teacher's marking criteria is so confusing. In a question, she asks for aspects that are barely mentioned if they are at all and wants you to add a lot of extra stuff in the answers. Maybe my way of answering is wrong? Maybe I interpret the questions all wrong? I want to get over this problem early so in the HSC year this won't be a worry anymore. Please advise how I should practice these conceptual questions (what textbook, website etc.) My school uses Chem Contexts which doesn't contain any great questions so I am looking for resources that have a lot of challenging questions which I can get marked from teacher often so I understand her thought process better.
