I want the crying laughing face emoji, it's been a recent staple in my messages. Perhaps this obsession is fleeting, or maybe it's here to stay... *perfect time for crying laughing face emoji*

Great call. 😂😂😂

Just going to keep bumping this. Of course, you can always post here with potential improvements for the forum/website/ATAR Notes in general - or message Jamon or myself - but this is a really ideal time to do it. ;D

Could we have an option where we can bookmark certain threads we want to keep up to date with? Like, especially those which we haven't posted in but read other people's replies regularly? I've always wanted this kind of option, where I don't have to fish through the "unread (VCE) posts since last visit" for a thread I didn't post in but I'm interested in, and similarly for "show new replies to your posts" for those which I had posted in. Also, sometimes the posts which I had posted in may no longer be relevant and/or interesting for me anymore.

This new feature could look something like this:

So on a thread that's not bookmarked, it would be like

But when you bookmark a thread, it would be like

In addition, I have way too many Chrome bookmarks. So if ATARNotes could implement this, it would be super awesome!! ;D

You can click Notify and it will email you when somebody posts in it (same with specific boards). The button is up the top right hand corner.

In terms of your idea, I like it. Beats having an email sent to you every time. This would mean, however, more pressure on the database because of customisation (every person bookmarking different things) and would require some pretty decent configuration.

A really minor issue, but something that I have noticed time to time, is that when I upvote a post and happen to hover over the downvote button, this button lights up and stays lit for some reason. That is, it looks something like this (though it's not shown, in the screenshot I'm hovering over the upvote button)

Sometimes it happens when I don't upvote a post at all - my cursor hovers over it and it lights up as if I downvoted it. I don't know if it's a bug, but it can be a bit annoying. Again, a super minor issue and I am being really nitpicky   ::)

Love this discussion - thank you. :)

Random thought: functionality to be able to "draw" replies. So like, if you're trying to explain a mathematical process (for example), you can simply draw your response directly in the reply function through a tablet sorta device.

Not well explained, but hopefully you get the idea. Would this be useful moving forward?

P.S. I love your handwriting, cookiedream.

Yes this would be very handy. Even some statements cannot be explained through meer words and need a diagram to aid explaination e.g. how feet are triangles

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I reckon it's a great idea!

Would love to see this feature!! Beats writing up worked solutions on OneNote, screenshotting them, uploading them on imgur and posting them as an image ;D

Omg I feel the pain - Even being able to drag and drop an image into a reply would probably save me an hour per week! ;D

Hey,

by the way this suggestion is similar to one above and possibly others, but I just thought id add it anyway

on the forum homepage we could have a section like shown below where we can add our favourite boards/child boards. this way we don't have to search through the forum or have hundreds of bookmarks for our favourite boards.

Thanks  :) :)
