Any progress from where I was at is good progress, haha.

Happy - was also slightly quicker than my run the other day. Next goal: 6km.

I'm so impressed!

Really impressive! Progress is progress.
As someone who had to learn how to walk and run again after surgery last year and will have to do so again soon, distances like these seem like a marathon to me haha.
Keep on soldiering on, Nick!

Tried a morning run. Hit my next two goals in one go. Ran 7.01km. Slow as all buggery, but honestly, speed was never my strength - even at my peak.
Pros: happy with my progress, feel less physically stuffed than I did after my very first run in this thread.
Cons: don't want to go too hard, too early, which is very typical of me. Go back to work tomorrow, so will have to make time.

You're making crazy progress and I'm really enjoying reading these updates Joseph41! You've actually inspired me to work on my own fitness (that was destroyed by year 12 last year) and set my own running goals. Absolutely awesome, keep it up! :)
