HSC Scaling

Hey guys, so I'm worried about the fact that I will no longer be able to get a band 6 in my subjects. I'm ranking first in 2 subjects (Maths advanced and pdhpe) and ranking 2nd in the rest (biology, chemistry, maths extension 1 and advanced english). I understand that top assessment is automically adjusted to equal top exam mark, however I'm worried if the scaling process will have a profound effect on me in the subjects where I am not ranking first. My average assessment mark across the board is around 80%, so would I still be able to get a band 6 in the subjects where I'm ranked second? Or is there just no way moderation/scaling will allow me to do so, due to my poor internals (pretty average cohort too).

Sorry if this is confusing, but it's really stressing me out!
Happy studying!  :)

Hey Shoesta!! You can definitely still get a Band 6 in those subjects, provided you smash your external exams then being second isn't going to impact you much at all - Second is a killer position to be in! ;D

Here is a guide on the whole process, if you are interested in knowing in detail! :)
