It's R U Okay today ^^ (We all know what day that is ) :P

How are you today? Better yet, how have you been?

I am feeling pretty eh  as I am having a pretty off day and my hayfever is just like off the charts (which isn't helping much tbh).

I'm more okay than I was a month ago, and less okay than I intend to be next month

I had to read it twice to get my head around it.
Well,  it's good that you are more okay than last month.

All i'll say is that you should always ask this question if you think something isn't right with someone and not just once for this day & feel good about it.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
Hence why i'm in all these different threads and boards.

This is very true.
Well,  it is for mental illness, and if someone is really suffering, something should be done, not just asking RU OK and forgetting about it.

If anyone is not feeling okay, I sincerely implore you to get help. If you're feeling depressed, make an appointment with your GP, and have a chat with them about how you've been feeling. They'll ask you some questions, some of which may be uncomfortable, and ask you to complete a survey. If they think you're depressed, they'll likely refer you to a psychologist, where you can have up to 10 free sessions. It's just a few minutes of calls and a half hour session to get you on a path to wellness. I avoided doing so for about four years, and I really regret it, so learn from my mistakes :)

If anyone has any questions about how to do this, what to expect, or anything else, feel free to chuck me a PM, and I'll be more than happy to lend a hand.

I'd advise talking to your loved ones about how your feeling too. If that's a bit hard, hey, I hear AN is a great place to talk!

Lastly, if things ever get really tough, please don't hesitate to call Lifeline at 13 11 14 or Beyond Blue at 1300 22 4636 for 24 hour support. There's absolutely no shame in needing to use these numbers, and you shouldn't feel weird about it. I've had to use them before, so I hope you can see there's nothing wrong with admitting to needing help :)
