I want to do more acts of kindness
sweetiepi:
A little boy from another athletics centre (there's 5 competing here atm) was feeling scared to compete for their 300 metre race. I was being nice and cheering them on/being motivational. Anyways, when the kid comes back, he's going to get a lollipop from me- he deserves it, and I hope it makes his day ;D
Update: he's really thankful, and he's mum thought it was sweet. :)

A tourist was on my train this afternoon, heading towards the city. They weren't sure as to how to get there, so I offered to show them where they wanted to go (the Greek festival in Lonsdale St) before I go to meet my friends for burgers (100% recommend Huxtaburger if you're looking for a decent burger joint that isn't maccas :) ). They thought I was very kind and they bought me a massive bottle of lemonade as a thank you, even after I said it wasn't necessary.
Made them smile, and made my trip into the city 100% better ^_^

This thread makes me so happy! Random acts of kindness are amazing, and it's so great to read all the ones you've done :) Excited to follow this thread!

Found a wallet randomly in the mall that someone had obviously lost, looked at their licence and searched them up on Instagram, DMed them and I drove it up to their house later that evening. The girl was very grateful and gave me a box of ferrero rochers hahaha
The Special One:
I know that feeling. I always get a chance for random acts of kindness. Lots of people come up to me and ask for directions I don't knew why maybe I've just got a friendly face but more than the average amount that's for sure.
And while I bring up my phone and can show them the right place most of the time sometimes I get the buildings wrong either because they didn't explain it well or I mucj up the building sub codes.
Feels bad when I realise my mistake I've considered just saying 'sorry I don't know' which would be better than unintentionally pointing them the wrong way.
Either way it's soemehing that's get me at night and a mini dilemma for sure.
