Most effective way to get a head start into 3/4?

Hi,
My school has opted this year to have exams at the end of term 3 and since these are completed I am relatively free for all of term 4 and the summer holidays leading up to year 12.

I figured that this is an excellent opportunity to get started on 3/4 content and wanted advice on where I should begin and how I should give my self the best opportunity to excel in Chemistry 3/4 next year. I plan to plan 2-3 hours a week getting a head start into unit 3/4 and also spend a decent amount of time in the holidays while still giving myself time to relax.

Thank you

Hi,

I would suggest consolidating your year 11 knowledge and making sure you understood this year, then building that knowledge towards a year 12 level.  In particular, you might want to look at:
-redox reactions
-naming organic molecules
-combustion reactions
-titrations
-chromatography

More advanced, may be difficult to understand on your own:
-equilibrium yield (different to rate of reaction)
-organic pathways
-electrolytic cells

Hope this helps :)
