Will doing old study design exams be at all relavant to the new study design? Is it worth it, or just a waste of time?

Worth it. Not all the question will be relevant to the new study design, but most of the question are relevant.
But do this years and 2016's questions first and then do the ones before 2016 for extra practice.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
Hence why i'm in all these different threads and boards.

Worth it for the core (statistics/data analysis) and some modules that still exist in FM that havent changed (much), but you will need to be careful of some changes.

So answering your question: there are parts in old study design exams that are relevant, however you'll need to cross-check and ensure what you are doing is actually relevant or not.
