hi i was wondering to ask everyone who completed their HSC last year how many hours of study did you at this time how much is to much i feel i cannot study effectively  if i go for long periods of time

Haven't completed the HSC myself but I think it'll vary for everyone. Some people work best in clumps of time, while others like short sessions. Personally, I feel like when you don't feel like you're absorbing anything, when you feel tired and unmotivated, it's always a good thing to take a break and refresh.

If shorter times work better for you, go for it! It'll always be better to do 2 hours of effective study rather than 10 of not taking anything in

One idea is to do 40/10. Work for 40 minutes then get up, do chores, eat, FB, Run, play with pets, whatever for 10 minutes and then get back into it.
Like I don't think ther's such thing as too much, just not effective vs effective

There is no way to tell someone how much they should study.  They should study in blocks that are the most effective. Having said that, studying in really long breaks is ineffective!

Back in the HSC, I did 1.5 hours at a time, followed by a 15 - 30 minute break. Rinse and repeat for 4 /5 times in a day.
