I've Almost Forgotten Everything

Hey,

So I sat down to do a practice exam. I blanked out on almost every question in the non-calculator exam and a majority of questions on the calculator one, with my ability to use the CAS being the only reason I could adequately answer anything.

How can relearn everything before the exam?

Thanks.

By the time i got around to the second exam, I was too dejected to pick up my bound reference, but even then I doubt I would have been able to make sense of anything in there, and it would have taken me WAY too long.

I think the best course of action is to write a summary of each chapter. Nothing big, just one thing from each chapter, to help get it all back in there. A paragraph, maybe even just a graph, and write it all down somewhere. The best part about doing this is not only will it help remind you of everything you've done so far, and click the gears back into place, but you can then put this into your bound reference (or even use just that as your bound reference, like I did), so it'll be doubly beneficial.

After that, if there's anything you're still struggling with/don't remember, just do a couple of the easier questions from the chapter, as a quick way to get you back into the habit of doing this kind of work.

In addition to the above, try writing key points on big pieces of paper, and stick them anywhere blu-tac will stick. If you see the same thing every morning while you are doing your hair, or at the end of your bed, it should jog your memory on those important points.
