Hi,

This is for anyone who has finished.

What sort of UMAT and ATAR combinations mean you're likely to get an interview? Say at Monash, UNSW, UON? Assuming non-rural and no other benefits.

Thanks in advance.

This table has been around for a while
http://medstudentsonline.com.au/forum/threads/2017-18-med-schools-selection-criteria-y12s-non-standards.31845/

For UNSW you need 99.0+90%ile (or 99.9+80%ile or 98.0+95%ile etc) to get an interview. These are at the *low end* of qualifying meaning you will also need to do an outstanding interview to get a place offer. Otoh students with higher scores say 99.5+95%ile can get by with a median interview.

Monash is similar but also depends whether you are Vic or interstate. Vic students get Monash interviews with 5-7%ile lower than the above combinations. Interstate students need 5-7%ile higher (last year one student with 99.8+89%ile didn't get invited).

UoN/JMP is much simpler, they require 94.3+ and UMAT 60+/50/50.
