Anybody in the same boat as me?

Along with my five other subjects, I do Industrial Technology - Multimedia.

It has a major work -  I actually think I'm good for a band 5 at least, so pretty happy :) - and the exams are quite simple and short - marked /40 with the other 60% coming from the major work.

However, I've heard that the (scaling? moderation? weighting? I don't know the correct term, sorry) for IT isn't particularly good...

Basically, how will IT affect my atar?

Hey! You shouldn't worry about scaling/moderation and stuff. If you want to know how it works, here's a guide, but it isn't going to negatively impact you in any way. Because like, you've done a subject you wanted to do, and your mark is therefore going to be higher in IT than it would have been elsewhere. Maybe a Band 5 result in IT doesn't scale as highly as a Band 5 result somewhere else, but it would be a small difference and you wouldn't have done as well in another subject!

So, don't stress about it! Focus on getting the best result you can ;D
