hi guys, im doing my chem homework and im stuck on a questions. It would be great if someone could help me out and explain how to find the balanced equation for 1-pentene with Cl2

Hi! As pentane is an alkene, the double bond opens up and Chlorine is added across like so:

The balanced equation would be C5H10+Cl2 = C5H10Cl2
Life is weird and crazy as heck but what can you do?
