Timing in the Exam
(1/1)
Tino_BCP:
Hey everyone
Hope everyone is working hard for tomorrows exam and is feeling confident, i'm sure you'll all do fine. ;D
I'm just wondering for students who have done the HSC and students who have done past HSC papers how did you go in terms for timing for biology exam? Did you finish early? Were you stressed for time? Did you want to rip the paper in half?( yeah i use to be like that) :-[
This is just in regards to i prefer to think about my answer before rushing into it and a quick little plan for anything more than 2 marks. For my trials and half yearlys i didnt have any issues with timing and had plenty of time to spare while doing this method and it turns out to work out really well. I havent been able to do a full 3 hour hsc practice paper for biology yet however hope to finish one this afternoon. Been mainly just doing it in chunks so i dont get demotivated. :o
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in adavnce!

I'm doing it tomorrow as well, ill try and finish MC in about 20 mins (I think any time under 30 mins is acceptable, but faster the better), and leave hopefully an hour for the option (As genetics is difficult, and seems to take ages).

Thanks for the reply! Yeah with you for multiple choice, MC is my favourite as we've been taught patterns and ways at tackling them so can easily smash them out. Yeah genetics is definitely alot more understanding is required. Luckily our school did communication which is more just memorising stuff. However i think i will spend most time on this as for the other topics i learnt them really well for trials and half yearly's but unfortunately for communication i was busy with chemistry :/
Good luck for tomorrow, hope we get a good paper!!
