Derived Score - approx??

Hey everyone, lurked before but first post!

I'm taking Psych this year as my one 3/4 in yr 11. Was studying up for the exam but sudden death in the family means I'll likely be out of the country next Thursday  :'(

I was wondering if anyone who knows the system or has had a DES for Psych in the could have a stab at guessing what'd I'd get and whether a DES usually helps or hinders? My Unit 1 SAC average was 80% and Unit 2 roughly 84%. So I'm travelling decently (tough SACs and I'm top 5/6 of a nearly 50 cohort) but not exceptional. I'm thinking I'll be somewhere in the 30s but would really appreciate an informed opinion as to where exactly in those 30s.

Thankyou and good luck to all Psych students next week!!

First off, I'm sorry to hear about that happening :(

However, It's probably difficult to say since school scores are moderated based off how difficult/easy they are compared to other schools and VCAA exams. I think it depends on your GAT scores as well.

Anyway will take exam so problem solved itself sorta! Will just be leaving country for funeral right after. Applying for a DES anyway but hoping I can put this week behind me and do well in the exam.

Cheers.
