Just for any1 still in skool (obviously not reg or odette), once u get bak frm holidays get ur TFN thru ur skool like I did. U fill out a single A4 page, the skool stamps it and stuff 2 say u're legit and off it goes. I got my TFN within the week - no interview, no hassles.

i'd say do it online, it's heaps easier! (thats coz our school got the entire year level to do it all at once, it took 3 months!)

arghhh.. when ATO says its approx 28 days its usually around there. For me it was and I was very frustrated, I don't think it can be that fast (1-2weeks) especially this period of the year. Lazy ATO workers. When you go remember to bring lots of ID and they will give you a slip to say what day you applied for a TFN, its procedure.

I called the ATO this morning cos my online application wasn't working, and you can only apply online if you are like, international or whatever (not Australian citizen).

i booked a meeting at the ato shopfront for tommorow :(. plz gief tfn quick (or certificate of proof lol)

Just a quick question:

I submitted my eCAF with "Full up-front payment" (because it said if I don't have a TFN I can change it later),
should I continue to submit the administrative enrollment or wait (not sure for what?)?

nak:
i think the certificate of proof is the slip they give you that has your application number and date when you apply for the TFN.
