help needed! optometry at Deakin!!!

Is anyone currently doing bachelor of vision science/master of optometry at Deakin university??

I just finished year 12 and I'm not sure if I should do undergrad optometry at Deakin or doctor of optometry at Melbourne uni via the guaranteed entry pathway.

I've heard that like only 13 graduating year 12 students do the course at Deakin and the rest of students are graduates. 

The Deakin course is highly competitive and an ATAR of 98.75 is needed.

Does anyone know anything else about the Deakin course from people they know who are doing it or if they're doing it themselves?
