Should I do general or further next year?

Hi,
I don't know whether to do general 1/2 or further 3/4 next year.

My school is a bit weird (we don't have year levels). I will be in year 9 equivalent age next year. I have done pre-methods this year and last year (it is year 10 level).

I will be doing methods 1/2 next year.

The general math content seems very easy and I think I will get bored, the only things I have not previously done are matrices and networks.

I was going to do general next year but a timetable error landed me in further. I changed this to general, however after talking to my sister (who did general this year) I think that general will be easy. However I am not sure if I am capable of doing a 3/4 subject yet.

This week and next week are headstart so I have the next two weeks to change classes.

Do you guys have any advice/recommendations?

I don't think you should be doing either if you are going down the Methods pathway tbh. Further/general is targeted towards a specific type of student (e.g. those who don't require methods/spec but still want some sort of application-based maths in their VCE).

If you have not had exposure to general/further related content such as networks, data analysis (e.g. histograms, time series), financial maths etc.. maybe general would be better. You still have a few years ;)

The content of general/further and methods are different and unique each in their own right. E.g. probability is taught in methods but not in general/further (there are a few topic areas like this)
