I'm not sure if it's just me but chocolate taste so much better straight out of the fridge!

I've tried chocolate at room temperature and at warm temperature and still , it has a sweeter taste straight out of the fridge.

what about you?

I agree, also soft chocolate goes so much quicker, and there's just something about the crunch you get out of a cold piece of chocolate. But yes, the flavour does seem a bit sweeter and better.

Soft chocolate goes faster, but it tastes farrrr nicer... I feel like keeping chocolate cold sort of locks up the taste so you can't taste it as strongly.  Ideally, all chocolate should be completely melted, but this is difficult to eat.

As soon as you  open a block of chocolate, it gets eaten in a few days, so whats the point of keeping it in the fridge?

Hate to contradict you, sis, (not really) but ur wrong. There are pros and cons of both, but merely flavour-wise, dark chocolate tastes far better when it is cold, while white and milk chocolate it is less marked, but still tastes better cold.

True dat, but you should keep the chocolate in the fridge before you open it anyway.

I think it tastes better at room temperature, but if the room is 30+ degrees then it goes in the fridge. Not a big fan of melted chocolate it's too sticky and messy and some always ends up left on the packet.

How does chocolate last so long in your household?

A few days? More like a few hours (read as: irl less than 20 minutes) at my place!

Room temp choc is way better, but I hate it when it melts before I get to it. :)

It doesn't last that long at all - reason why you don't need to keep it in the fridge  :P

Refrigerating chocolate literally ruins it. It loses all its flavour if you keep it in the fridge too long.

Only acceptable to put it in the fridge if it has a filling. E.g. cadbury with peppermint in the fridge=genius, cadbury with peppermint in the freezer=miraculous

Not in the pantry, but they find a way in whenever something sweet is inside.
