http://www.vtac.edu.au/reports/appstats-ug-2017.html - This is the statistics for courses, updated to reflect the first round offers on Tuesday. Very interesting how many people applied...

Shows that 6.1k and 7.3k of graduates (in the past 3 years) got into Unimelb and Monash(Clayton+Caufield) on Tuesday, which shows that there are quite a lot of people with high ATAR making me feel more guilty (despite people saying shit like "ATAR doesn't matter") about myself...

Firstly, are there actually a lot of people who get 80s-90s? I always thought the numbers are "exaggerated" through the internet where Straight-A students are around, such as this forum.

Secondly, do a lot of people take a year or 2 of gap year? As it contains graduates from the last 3 years. I thought many just start straight away.
